At Metrowide, we acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present, and we recognise their continuing connection to land, waters, and community.
We are committed to reconciliation and to creating meaningful partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. As a growing business on the coast and across Australia, we believe it is our responsibility to walk alongside First Nations communities with respect, understanding, and purpose.
We are actively working to increase our engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, contractors, suppliers, and jobseekers.
We are building a workplace where Indigenous voices are heard, valued, and celebrated. This includes providing cultural awareness training to our staff and leadership team, and ensuring our policies and procedures support equity, safety, and inclusion for everyone.
As part of our long-term vision, we are exploring the development of a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) to formalise our commitments and hold ourselves accountable to clear actions.
We are also working to better understand local histories and foster stronger connections with Traditional Custodians in the regions we operate.
If you are part of a Traditional Owner group, Aboriginal business, or community organisation, we would love to connect. We are always open to respectful conversations about how Metrowide can support your goals — whether through employment, collaboration, or sponsorship.
Reconciliation is not a destination — it is a journey we are committed to taking, side by side with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. At Metrowide, we believe in building respectful, long-term relationships based on truth, equity, and shared opportunity.
